Japow tour 2016 was awesome! The epic snow crew showed us around Tokyo for a few days and took us to some hidden gems. Then Myoko and Japow house was epic! Great snow. Awesome vibes all over town. Just a great bunch of shredders doing what they love!!!

We have way too much fun!

After two tours I know these guys have convinced me to keep coming back. We have way too much fun, I learn a lot, and they take us to the best slopes to enjoy the snow. Thank you, Epic Snow Co!

You can’t go wrong with Epic Snow Tours

Awesome tour and top blokes! Have taken away some precious memories from the Japow tour this year and they were super supportive of my being an absolute beginner snowboarder. You can’t go wrong with Epic Snow Tours

It was the best holiday ever!

It was the best holiday ever!  I still smile and even laugh out loud in my recollection.  To have had such a range of experiences in a short amount of time for such a reasonable price still blows my mind!  Any little notion of stress or worry and the Epic Snow guys were there to help which meant I was keen to give new things a go including Sushi, go karting through Tokyo, off-piste skiing through the trees, and all the guides food recommendations were winners!  I met a great group of outgoing, interesting and friendly people who are each welcome for tea if ever they visit the UK.

It’s good to know that the guys have knowledge and training in avalanche safety and take this seriously in a geeky fashion where not only will they look to see the ‘best’ resort for the day, they will also take into account many other factors to ensure a good and safe day out.  Others who didn’t benefit from this found there is such thing as too much snow in Myoko and had to walk down the mountain whereas we had a fantastic day around on a different side of the mountain!

It certainly won’t be the last!

Finally got around to joining an Epic Snow tour & it certainly won’t be the last!
The guides do an awesome job attending to all the details of the tour, along with adding personal touches without hesitation when asked, whether it be a suggestion of trying some different Japanese food or a simple adjustment of your bindings, the guys have it covered.

This is the most fun I’ve ever had.

This is the most fun I’ve ever had. They make everything so easy and help you whenever they can. Whether it be the trains or giving you pointers on how to board better they will be there. I plan to be back as many years as I can. Couldn’t recommend higher.

Sayonara Japan! You had me at Konichiwa!

Sayonara Japan! You had me at Konichiwa! Thanks to Ricky and Benny at Epic Snow Co. for arranging such a uniquely awesome Japanese adventure and KimmyMiyu and Lisu-lemon at Japow house for having us. From bagging amazing discounts on shiny new snow gear at Tokyo’s Snow shop strip to getting lost in translation at an all you can drink champagne and cocktail Soiree with the most spectacular view of Tokyo by night at the Infamous Park Hyatt, ‘Drop it like it’s hot’ sake fueled Karaoke in ‘where’s wally’ socks, watching Japan’s big boys take each other on at the Annual Sumo Championships, eating the most unimaginably Oishii (delicious) fresh sushi wandering round the Tokyo fish markets, bars with real penguins and Yamazaki whiskey tasting, hitting the powdery slopes and fresh tree runs of Mt. Myoko daily, building ‘expression session’ snow parks and jumps at Japow house, flying off banks up the street into seas of deep powder just because it’s funny, face first penguin slides on snowboards down the street home, steamy soaks in hot Onsen springs with snow capped vista’s, hanging out with snow monkeys in the forests of Nagano, Obama V’s Kim jong arm-wrestles and Jenga sessions at skate bar… going home with a bag full of hilarious and special memories, a seriously full belly from all the ramen & pork buns and incredible Japanese food & drinks, tired legs and sore cheeks from all the smiling! Arigato team Japow!

Jumped off the plane and they handled everything from there

Travelled with these guys this year and had the best time! Jumped off the plane and they handled everything from there. Entertainment, food, transport, lift tickets, tours of Tokyo and even getting me home after my 30th in Tokyo which they made very memorable for me. The personal touches that takes a trip from good to epic! If you want to kick back and take in the Japanese experience do your snow trip with these guys. Great people, great snowboarders and skiers and just a great time.

Where do I start???

Where do I start??? Put yourself in my shoes for a moment, as a Queenslander that has never seen the snow, fast forward to taking a gamble and booking a tour with a random company id never heard about, landing in Japan not really knowing what to expect. Well to be honest it was probably the best thing I could have ever done, when greeted at the terminal I was and still am blown away by how welcome the boys made me feel, from the bright lights of Tokyo down to the delicious ramen houses they took the group to was really great, even when we hit the snow in Myoko they never left the group and were always giving tips on improving my riding ability. the local knowledge these guys have about the places we visit is just crazy!! from Onsens to snow monkeys I’m truely amazed on how great these tours really are.
24 months on iv been on 6 tours and recommend it to anyone who thinks they need a holiday. YOU GUYS ROCK! ?

This tour was absolutely epic!

I have to be honest.

I have to be honest. I booked a tour to Japan instead of flying solo because I was a little apprehensive about the culture and language difference. I booked with Epicsnowco because I actually met Ricky in the Cardrona carpark. I usually go it alone on my overseas snowboard trips. I got to Japow House and met the crew and after ten minutes I didn’t feel like I’d made any new friends. How I actually felt, was that I’d met up with a bunch of old friends.
I can’t really explain it. Ricky and Ben combine years of knowledge with a massive sense of fun and a relaxed attitude. We hit the right spots for the conditions every day. I got a few tips on improvement. I didn’t feel regimented or like I was just playing follow the leader at all.
My partner and I run a small company and we pride ourselves on providing a personal one on one experience to our guests. I cherish this in businesses I want to deal with.
I thought I would get an insight into Japan so in future, I could just go there on my own and I could do that now but why would I? No from now on my Japan trips will always be with Epic Snow Tours.

What an incredible experience!!

What an incredible experience!! Ricky and Benny immediately make you feel like family while teaching you about Japanese food, customs and history; all the while ensuring that you have a fantastic time! We toured the sites in Tokyo for a few days before heading out to Myoko-Shi to stay at the fabulous Japow house. Top the trip off with a ton of snow, lots of fireball, many ‘icings’ and the most fantastic crew. We made new friends and memories that we cannot wait to repeat. #epicsnowreunion

As a novice Snowboarder, I progressed so much further in such a short time riding with like-minded people. The Guides and Ambassadors of Epic Snow are second to none.
